Scan it and you see the plantation, the harvest and distillation dates, and the CITES permit the oud cleared under. It is single-origin Assam agarwood — traceable to the tree, not merely described that way.

How to wear it

Warm the pulse points
Apply to wrists, the base of the throat and behind the ears — where skin runs warmest and the oud opens slowly.

Let it settle, don't rub
Spray once and wait. Rubbing bruises the top notes; give the agarwood a minute to bloom against your skin.

Keep it out of the light
Heat and sunlight break an oud down faster than time does. Back in the box, somewhere dark, and it will smell the same next year.
The Assam way
Layer it with the bakhoor
Before agarwood was ever bottled it was burned. Smoke the fabric first and the fragrance sits on top of it — deeper, and it stays with the cloth long after the skin has quietened.

Light a chip over charcoal and let the smoke rise for a minute.

Pass the garment through it — collar, cuffs, the inside of a scarf.

Wear the fragrance over the smoked fabric. The oud meets its own smoke.
