The soul of Assam, patented and preserved
From a patented plantation to your skin — MJI is the story of how Assam's agarwood became the world's most traceable oud.
Three truths, one tree
A world-first patent
MJI holds the patent for the world's first cultivated Assam agarwood — a breakthrough that lets us produce genuine oud sustainably, without depleting wild forests.
Rooted in association
Working hand in hand with Assam's growers' associations, we secure fair, traceable supply from plantation to still — every batch carries its provenance.
Built for export
CITES-compliant and export-grade, our oud travels the world while keeping its origin honest: patented, alcohol-free, and Made in Assam.
The MJI Group Journey
MJI Group’s journey began with an Agarwood nursery and grew into its own plantation and its own manufacturing and distillation plant for agar oil, essential oils, perfumes and oudh in Assam, India — with a vision to tap into the rich heritage of a region renowned for its natural resources and distinctive cultural traditions. Its full potential had long remained untapped; MJI was determined to change that.
